Meet David Dycus
David Dycus is the co-owner and driving force behind Dycus Heating and Air Conditioning, bringing nearly four decades of HVAC industry experience to every aspect of the company. His career in the trades began at just 17, fueled by a deep desire to master his craft and do the job the right way, without shortcuts. That commitment to quality, education, and integrity continues to shape the company today.
With a 4-year degree, studies at UC Berkeley, and formal teaching credentials, David has gone beyond hands-on work to help shape the next generation of technicians. He created an HVAC curriculum and spent over four years teaching an apprenticeship program, combining technical expertise with real-world training. In 2001, alongside his wife Shaunna Dycus, he founded Dycus Heating and Air Conditioning as a locally owned, family-run business built on skill, fairness, and long-term customer trust, values that remain at the heart of the company today.

Purchased a Bosch Heat Pump/ AC unit in 2023. The installation was a bit tricky and there have been a few issues with the unit since, but Dycus has always come out quickly and worked diligently each time to ensure the unit was working as it should and that I was happy with the result. Being a small business owner myself, service after the sale is paramount and Dycus excels in this area. The front office people and the techs are very professional and know their stuff.
